Meisha K. Abbasinejad, MD
Dr. Abbasinejad completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University. She graduated with honors from Howard University where she earned her medical degree. She completed her residency at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC.
Cynthia W. Richards, MD
Dr. Richards completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University and has a Master's degree from Columbia University. She received her medical degree from University of Vermont and completed her residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she served as chief resident during her last year. She served on active duty in the US Army as a Major and served as Brigade Surgeon for 3rd Heavy Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division and was awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Medical Badge.
Judit A. Staneata, MD
Dr. Staneata is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Tirgu Mures, Romania. She completed two years of residency in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery in Romania before relocating to the United States. She completed her residency at East Carolina University. She is fellowship trained in interventional spine/musculoskeletal and pain management from Ortho Carolina Winston in Winston-Salem, NC.
Peter T. Kalogerinis, PA-C
Mr. Kalogerinis received a BS in Biology from East Carolina University and his Masters of Medical Science at Methodist University. In addition to being a board certified Physician Assistant, he has advanced training in ultrasound guidance for procedures. Mr. Kalogerinis has been a member of the practice for 7 years and has extensive knowledge and experience to manage acute and chronic pain issues. Mr. Kalogerinis is a native from Fayetteville and resides here with his wife and 2 children. He is also active at the local hospital system where he serves on the credentials committee. He looks forward to assisting you in your treatment plans as a patient of the practice.
Phillip M. Hanson, PA-C
Phillip completed his undergraduate studies at Illinois Wesleyan University in 2003 where he received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in religion. He received a Master of Medical Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Methodist University in 2006. Phillip has been working for Cape Fear Physical Medicine and Rehab since 2007.
